New Kent Middle School is a public middle school located in New Kent, Virginia, east of Richmond. In 2008 the school changed its location from the historic site that was involved in 1968 in a desegregation court case. The case ultimately appeared before the Supreme Court as Green v. County School Board of New Kent County. The current building is a former high school close to the current high school and New Kent Elementary School. As in a typical middle school, Grades 6-8 are taught.
